My question is to the Prime Minister. I refer again to the message to the 78 passengers on the Oceanic Viking document that he tabled earlier. Will the Prime Minister inform the House whether he was made aware of the written offer and its contents before it was made to the asylum seekers on the Oceanic Viking? Did the Prime Minister approve the terms of the offer?
Kevin Rudd (Griffith, Australian Labor Party, Prime Minister) | Link to this | Hansard source
The answer to the honourable gentleman’s question is no and no.
