in reply—The Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme Amendment (Household Assistance) Bill 2009 [No. 2] is an extremely important bill amongst the package that the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme comprises. It is one that deals with the household assistance to compensate low- and middle-income households in particular. A number of speakers spoke as to the importance of these measures and I thank them for their contribution during the cognate debate. I commend this bill to the House.

Question agreed to.
