My question is to the Prime Minister. Will the Prime Minister advise the House of the exact date on which he became aware that his office had recommended to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet that a media management contract for the 2020 Summit be awarded to CMAX, a company owned by the Minister for Defence’s media adviser?

My department has given evidence on this matter at Senate estimates. Subsequent to that, Senator Ronaldson wrote to the Auditor-General and asked for an investigation. The Auditor-General is having a performance audit at the moment. That is underway and I do not propose to comment further.
