From the day that I was elected to this place, I was under the understanding that the members car park of the House of Representatives was specifically for members of parliament. Today, three young people were approached and asked why they were parking their cars in the members car park. The response was that the registration numbers of their vehicles were put into the application form by their member. Could you please, for the benefit of the House, make some inquiries to find out which members, if any, are allowing their staff to park in car spaces specifically marked for members of parliament and report back to the House?
