I want to add to an answer provided earlier to a question from the member for Murray. The member sought a guarantee that no funds from the National Water Initiative would be diverted to a pipeline taking water from the Murray-Darling Basin to Melbourne—but the National Water Initiative is not a funding program, as the member for Murray suggests. The Sugarloaf pipeline is fully funded by the Victorian government and, as such, the Commonwealth will not be contributing funds for the project.
