I present the 11th report of the Petitions Committee for the 48th parliament together with 79 petitions and 50 ministerial responses to petitions previously presented. The petitions being presented cover a range of topics including the environment, the electorate system, PFAS exposure, support for families of missing persons and homicide victims, and self-funded retirees. Five of the petitions being presented each received more than 1,000 signatures, with one petition looking at protecting access to reasonable and necessary supports under the NDIS receiving more than 7,000 signatures. There are currently 86 e-petitions open for signatures on the House e-petitions website, covering a range of topics including the 2026-27 budget, child support, veterans' entitlements, artificial intelligence and migration. More certifications will follow at the committee's next meeting. I look forward to updating the House further on the work of the Petitions Committee.
